Three hour bite-sized sewing classes in Chelsea, London teaching you how to make beautiful cushions, for beginners and enthusiastic amateurs.
Learn how to set up, thread and use a sewing machine from scratch, then put your new talents to use by making a super comfy cushion.
You can choose from a ribbon tie back or covered button detail. All fabrics, cushion pads, machines, equipment and good times included! Not forgetting plenty of tea and cake too.

- Winding a bobbin
- Learning the different functions of the machine
- Sewing seams
- Sewing in a straight line
- Sewing curves, corners and pivoting
- Finishing seams and reverse stitching
- Making buttonholes
- Sewing on a button
- Machine hemming
- Understanding fabrics, grain lines and seam allowances
- Using a pattern
- Pinning and marking fabric
Saturday Sewing Session will also supply some written information to take home, along with your pattern.
All fabric and machines are provided, although if you would like to bring your own sewing machine to learn on, or your own fabric, you are welcome to.
